The Cybersecurity Skills Coalition European Digital Infrastructure Consortium has now been formally established through Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1416.

This Decision sets up the European Digital Infrastructure Consortium for Cybersecurity Skills Coalition (CSC-EDIC), giving the initiative its official legal basis and enabling participating Member States to work together under a common European framework.

The CSC-EDIC will support the implementation of the EU Cybersecurity Skills Academy, helping to address Europe’s cybersecurity skills gap through coordinated training, upskilling and reskilling actions, stronger cooperation between industry and academia, and the development of recognised cybersecurity competences across the European Union.
