CSC-EDIC
The success of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy depends on the active participation of the wider cybersecurity community. Public authorities, universities, vocational education providers, companies, research organisations, industry associations and civil society actors all have a role to play in strengthening Europe’s cybersecurity skills ecosystem.
This page presents the Academy as a space for cooperation and engagement. It can host information on stakeholder pledges, commitments, partnerships, events, workshops, webinars and networking opportunities. It can also highlight how organisations can contribute to the development of cybersecurity skills through training provision, internships, mentoring, curriculum development, awareness activities or cooperation with public and private-sector employers.
A dedicated community and opportunities page can also support the connection between learners and the labour market. It may include information about internships, traineeships, job opportunities, industry-led training, public-sector needs and collaboration opportunities for SMEs and other organisations. In this way, the Academy can help bridge the gap between education, training and employment.
The page should also encourage stakeholders to share knowledge, good practices and needs. This is important because the cybersecurity skills challenge cannot be solved by isolated initiatives. It requires coordination, visibility and continuous dialogue between those who provide skills, those who need skills and those who support policy and investment.
By bringing together pledges, opportunities and community activities, this page can make the Academy more dynamic and participatory. It can show that cybersecurity skills development is not only a policy priority, but also a shared European effort that depends on cooperation, commitment and long-term engagement.
