The AKADIMOS project, led by Greece’s National Cybersecurity Authority, aims to close the EU-wide cybersecurity skills gap by supporting the creation of the European Cybersecurity Skills Academy. With €4M co-funded under the Digital Europe Programme, it unites public bodies, universities, and research institutes from five countries to build a coordinated training ecosystem. The initiative strengthens EU cybersecurity capacity by promoting collaboration, reducing overlap, and developing unified skills frameworks.
